SAFETY TECHNOLOGY

Keep you Out of Harm's Way with Unsurpassed Safety Technology

Safety is the foremost consideration in Mitsubishi’s truck manufacturing. The new FP/FV series is no exception, featuring a sturdy cab that offers you maximum protection should you be involved in an accident. Indeed, our aim is to keep you well out of harm’s way over the long haul by employing the latest safety technology.

A Safer Cab Structure

A thorough computer analysis of the trucks and crash testing on actual vehicles has resulted in the ultimate in safe cab structure, backed up by a reinforced under frame and use of side door beams. These structural improvements were made with the smallest net addition of weight possible, while at the same time expanding the safety margin in the event of accident.

Side Door Beam(Optional)

The side door beam lessens the extent of the collapse of the cab structure during a head-on collision, ensuring further safety for occupants.

Enlarged Windshield Wipers

The new FP/FV boats enlarged windshield wipers. The windshield wiper nozzle itself is installed inside the wiper arm for improved functionality. Furthermore, the windshield wiper fluid tank now has a larger capacity.

Shock Absorbing Steering Wheel

In the event of a significant collision, the steering wheel collapses to minimize injury to the driver’s upper torso. This is bolstered by the implementation of a shock-absorbing design in the spoke housing as well.

All-round Vision Door Mirrors

The door mirror on the driver’s side is positioned for optimum viewing, enhancing the front and side fields of vision.

Halogen Fog Lamps

Projector Type Headlamps (Optional) for a Larger Field of View
